- Defence:
The telling moment in this counterattack is the marking on Nedved. Even
though the defence is outnumbered 4 against 3 & tries not to get drawn
out of position, Nedved is left free to make a run at the back post. We
notice two defenders who may have covered him at the start of the attack.
- Attack: From an attacking point of view. Poborsky's pass to Crespo is
perfectly timed as are the supporting runs of Nedved and Crespo - The
players always manage to stay onside.
- Counter-attacks should be an integral part of tactical training.
