COACHING SESSION: 2 MAN PRESSING

	1) The aim of this exercise is to work as a team when trying to win the ball back. The server plays the ball in low to N° 11. 2) N° 11 aims to get away from the defender and make space, here he tries to move down the left-wing. Meanwhile N° 6 after correctly judging the attacker's actions, moves across on the blind side to intercept. 3) N° 11 not having seen N° 6 loses the ball. Organisation:
- 1 server, 1 attacker and 2 defenders. - Half-size pitch.

Variations:
- The defender can drop off and let the other player do the pressing, he then himself tries to intercept on the blind side. - This exercise can be undertaken without the ball with players faking movements...

Tips:
- It is important that the player on the blind side reads and judges correctly the opposition player's movements and tries to surprise him. - The player making the challenge must aim to win or "kill" the ball.
